Description
ImmunoLip® sea buckthorn+OMEGA-3 is an oral liposomal gel based on phospholipids from sunflower lecithin. Phospholipids are the basic components of the biological membranes of the human body. The product was made of the highest quality raw materials in the DWATRO®LIP liposomal technology. Studies have shown that liposomes provide more nutrients in the body’s cells. The product does not contain preservatives, fillers, lactose, sugar and sweeteners, dyes, and artificial flavors. Read more about the advantages of liposomal technology here.

Fats in the human body play a very important role. They are a building component, the main source of energy and a solvent for fat-soluble substances, for example vitamins A, D, E and K. Essential fatty acids (EFAs) – are very important for the human body because they are necessary for proper development and also to maintain good health. They are also a source of ingredients that are used in the body to synthesize biologically active compounds such as prostaglandins. Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids belonging to EFAs are essential components of the diet because they have many important functions and the human body (and animals) cannot synthesize them. The long-chain forms of omega-3 acids show the essential biological activity: docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). These acids enter the structure of cell membranes and are essential for proper development and functioning of the central nervous system and the organ of vision. The precursor of the entire group of omega-3 fatty acids is α-linolenic acid. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of the proper functioning of the brain and proper vision. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) helps to maintain proper blood cholesterol levels. The recommended DHA intake according to the European Food Safety Authority was set at 250 mg per day.
In the product ImmunoLip® Sea Buckthorn + OMEGA-3, DHA comes from microalgae oil (Schizochytrium sp.), so it can be consumed by vegans.
Vitamin C helps in the production of collagen, which affects the proper functioning of the skin, blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums and teeth. It is a powerful antioxidant, protects our skin cells from the harmful effects of free radicals and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Adequate vitamin C supplementation affects the skin tone, healthy and radiant appearance, proper iron synthesis and the proper functioning of the immune and nervous systems. It improves psychological functions and reduces the feeling of fatigue and weariness. The product ImmunoLip® Sea Buckthorn + OMEGA-3 contains three forms of vitamin C (sodium L-ascorbate, calcium L-ascorbate and L-ascorbic acid), which makes it safe for people with stomach ailments.
Sea buckthorn is a plant rich in many bioactive compounds: flavonoids, lycopene, carotenoids, phytosterols, unsaturated fatty acids (omega-3), amino acids and vitamins. Due to the presence of polyphenols and flavonoids, it has antioxidant properties – protects cells against free radicals. It has been found that enriching our diet with sea buckthorn contributes to the strengthening of our body’s immunity.
Vitamin D helps in the proper functioning of the immune system, maintains healthy bones and teeth, helps in the proper absorption / use of calcium and phosphorus, helps in the proper functioning of muscles, helps maintain the proper level of calcium in the blood. The food supplement ImmunoLip® Sea Buckthorn+OMEGA-3 has, among other components, vegan vitamin D originating from the lichen Cladonia rangiferina.
Vitamin E (“vitamin of youth”) helps to protect cells against oxidative stress. This means that it is an antioxidant, i.e. a substance that inactivates free radicals and thus inhibits the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. Due to the fact that unsaturated fatty acids are one of the most important components of biological membranes, the mentioned function is important in maintaining the structural integrity and functional activity of lipoprotein cell membranes. Vitamin E is a group of eight compounds with a similar structure. The highest biological activity is shown by α-tocopherol and it is this compound that was used in the product ImmunoLip® Sea Buckthorn + OMEGA-3 as a form of vitamin E.
Phosphatidylcholine is the most important phospholipid contained in lecithin. Phospholipids play a very important role in metabolic processes. They are part of all biological membranes of our body, regulate the activity of enzymes, as well as permeability, transport and membrane potential. They are an integral component of plasma lipoproteins. It has been found in scientific studies that phosphatidylcholine increases the level of choline in the plasma and in the brain, and accelerates the neuronal synthesis of acetylcholine, which is a neurotransmitter.
